As a new patient, expect a very different approach to your health. Your first consult will be with one of our Health Coaches. This consult is typically 60 to 90 minutes long.
This appointment is about gathering as much information as possible. We will talk through your health history, prescriptions, supplements, family history, surgeries, stressors, chronic illnesses and make sure we have past lab and test results.
These visits involve a comprehensive and collaborative approach to establish health goals, address challenges, testing and the beginning of uncovering root causes of your health concerns. This appointment may include KBMO food intolerance testing, if appropriate.
This consult is scheduled with either Dr. Grover or Dr. Schneider.
All information gathered at Prep Consult has been reviewed, so our doctors are able to review and
dig a little deeper into areas you are targeting. In addition, this allows for review of any changes you may have made since your initial visit.
The providers will review your past laboratory results and health history with you. This in-depth review results in a 60 to 90 minute appointment. We will use this information to order new functional medicine labs along with action items to work on prior to your next appointment.
Typical follow-up after this visit is one to three months.
During this consult, the providers will review any improvements you have made with the past action items and also the results of your functional medicine laboratories.
